Students who learn English not as a lesson, but as a language in the ordinary flow of life, use the foreign language as a means of communication in the natural process with the class teacher and the English teacher who are in the classroom at the same time and develop their academic development bilingually with two teachers.
At Alanya American College of Culture, our goal is to raise students who are curious, inquisitive and can ask “why”.
We explore with our students in class and branch lessons, investigate everything they are curious about, and learn new things every day. We have fun, experiment, discover, listen and think while learning.
We know that each student has a different learning situation and we use different teaching techniques based on the fact that learning is as unique as a fingerprint.
Students who develop their thinking skills learn science and math with fun through mind games and GEMS activities. At Alanya American Culture College, special emphasis is placed on “Science Education” and project studies that will enable students to think and act according to the “Cause and Effect” relationship, starting from primary school until the end of secondary education. Science education programs are based on group work, individual work and experiments in laboratories prepared to appeal to multiple senses.

Education System - Bilingual Education
Bilingual Education can be briefly defined as bilingual education. Today, in many parts of the world, many children grow up using two languages at the same time. We call people who use two languages in their daily lives “bilingual” bilingual. At American Culture Colleges, instead of teaching our children by saying “Now we will teach you English”, English is presented as a sharing process in the natural flow of life.
At American Culture Colleges, there are 2 teachers in each class in kindergarten and primary school, one of whom is an English teacher and the other a classroom teacher. In our bilingual schools, our students speak English like their mother tongue until the end of primary school.
European Language Portfolio
The European Language Portfolio and American Culture Colleges;
With the decisions taken by the Council of Europe, there was a need for a common standard in foreign language teaching as well as standardization in many subjects. The European Language Portfolio is a document in which people who learn or have learned a language at school or out of school can record and express all of their language learning experiences and cultural experiences.
It is an assessment system based on the Common European Framework for European Languages. “Learner autonomy” and “self-assessment” are the educational concepts on which this portfolio is based.
Sections of the European Language Passport
Language Passport : It contains some personal information about the languages you speak and their levels, as well as language level indicators developed by the Council of Europe's Department of Modern Languages.
Foreign Language Curriculum Vitae : Self-awareness (learning to learn), cross-cultural experiences and “can do” statements (self-assessment).
File : Documents such as certificates, diplomas, project samples and articles.
American Culture Colleges is one of the few colleges in Turkey authorized to issue the European Language Passport.
