In alignment with the school's mission statement, the English Department at Alanya American Culture College aims to develop each student's language skills to their fullest potential by offering a curriculum that supports the development of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Second Language: Russian

The Russian program is elective and aims to foster a love for the language, expose students to different cultures, and develop their creativity, providing them with the necessary tools for success. Starting from the age group of five in kindergarten, the program includes two hours per week throughout their educational life to cultivate individuals who understand and express themselves comfortably in a second language.

Every English Teacher is an International English Teacher!

Alanya American Culture College provides all its teachers with the International English Teaching Certificate (TESOL) in English Teaching Methodology and Practice. This qualification allows our teachers to teach English in 102 countries where English is not the native language.

European Council-Approved European Language Portfolio

Cambridge International Program:

With a student-centered approach that targets excellence and avoids rote learning, the Cambridge International Program, recognized globally, offers a step-by-step and flexible curriculum supported by comprehensive and supportive teaching materials. Our international network helps develop globally aware individuals who meet the criteria sought by prestigious universities worldwide and are unconditionally accepted by these institutions.

Cambridge Exam and Certificate Program:

These exams, administered in 2,700 centers in 130 different countries and taken by over 3 million students, have been evaluating candidates' language use since 1858 and are internationally recognized by Cambridge University. Our school serves as an exam center in collaboration with the relevant institution.

Student European Language Portfolio Content:

• Language Passport: Contains personal information about the languages spoken and their levels, along with language level indicators developed by the Council of Europe.
• Language Biography: Includes self-awareness (learning to learn), intercultural experiences, and self-assessment statements ("I can" statements).
• Dossier: Contains documents such as certificates, diplomas, project examples, and essays. American Culture Colleges is one of the two educational institutions in Turkey authorized to implement this Council of Europe-approved program and issue the "European Language Passport."

UK Homeschool

International Diploma Program

Our students are offered an internationally recognized UK Accreditation diploma program.

According to the agreement between the International Independent Schools Authority (IISA) and UK Accreditation, our students, by taking the additional courses of the British education curriculum alongside the Turkish education curriculum, obtain middle or high school diplomas valid in the UK, America, and Europe.

For the middle school diploma, supplementary courses are taken starting from the 5th grade. At the end of each year, students advance to the next grade level through exams. Students receive their diploma at the end of the 8th grade with a week-long stay, education, and graduation ceremony in the UK. All expenses except for airfare are covered by our school.

This educational program is an exclusive privilege offered to our students. For the high school diploma, students progress through an online program at the high school level and advance to the next grade by taking end-of-year exams. At the end of the 11th grade, they receive their high school diploma and graduate from the program with an internationally recognized graduation certificate.

Students have the chance to enhance their qualifications by completing supplementary courses through individual and group studies with expert subject teachers. Our students with a diploma valid in the UK, Europe, and America have the opportunity to apply to universities accepting homeschool students worldwide without exams.
