ABOUT US
Welcome to Our School!
American Culture Colleges were established in Turkey in 1911 and started serving in Alanya, Antalya, in the 2021-2022 academic year.
The American Culture Association is responsible for the international English teaching program TESOL in Asia and Turkey. Through this, it has trained thousands of teachers by implementing an English Teaching program recognized by the Ministry of National Education both in our country and worldwide. Our school's Language Education Programs have been approved and accredited by the European Council with the code 2012-R0006. Therefore, our students have all the educational rights that students in European Union countries possess regarding foreign language education.
One of the most important features of our school is our Bilingual Education model. In this model, English is not just a subject; it is a lifestyle and a means of communication. Our students do not learn English; they acquire it. All our lessons and subjects progress with English support. The English Education Coach, alongside our classroom teacher, ensures the student's participation during and after the lesson. Thus, every student who takes the American Culture programs starts academic life knowing English as their native language and receives scholarships and education invitations from international universities.
Our school consists of three units: Kindergarten, Primary School, and Middle School. In our school, where education and teaching continue for six days, education is full-day. In all our units, from our youngest to our oldest students, we aim to raise healthy, active, creative, analytical, and inquisitive individuals who can adapt positively to the rapidly changing world and secure their future with confidence. The American Culture Colleges family, with its equipped vocational training staff and experienced cultural studies teachers, continues to raise honorable individuals with high academic success, who speak at least two foreign languages, and possess the necessary academic skills for the next level of education.
We provide our students with an educational service reinforced with study hours and one-on-one lessons. Through periodic in-school Assessment Exams and International Practice Exams, our students have the opportunity to frequently measure their proficiency levels. In all our classrooms, we utilize smart board systems, benefiting from all the possibilities of technology in our lessons. Besides the academic education provided, our students receive courses such as dance, basketball, football, volleyball, swimming, tennis, gymnastics, creative drama, robotic coding, theater, chess, Russian, visual arts, archery, horse riding, piano, guitar, and rhythm, taught by expert teachers in their respective fields. With our winter and summer schools, our students have the opportunity to develop themselves further by participating in the branches they are interested in and wish to advance.
Our Guidance Service is always in close contact with the students, providing the greatest support in their adaptation to school, behavior acquisition, and in any kind of problem. It serves as the most solid and reliable bridge between the teacher, student, and parent.
Throughout the year, we organize events with our students, parents, and teachers. Some of these include Parent Breakfast Events, Special Day Events (such as Turkish Day), Year-End Events, Commemorative Days and Weeks, Trips, Social Responsibility Projects, “A Day at American College,” and meetings. Social projects hold a special importance for us. We support the Red Crescent with our traditional blood donation project, donate to LÖSEV, donate the proceeds from our theater performances, and assist our Sister Schools with toys and clothes collected in our kindergarten. All these activities, seminars, and programs bring us together as a family and strengthen us further.
